The release of Dishonored 2 is right around the corner, though leading up to its release we’re getting some information regarding a day one patch for the game. While day one patches are a given these days, the one that will be accompanying the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game is a big one.
Thanks to some who have received early copies of the game, it has been revealed that the game will be getting a very big day one patch on consoles. On PS4 the file size for the patch is 9.1 GB and on Xbox One it is 9 GB, though we’re still waiting on news on what this might look like on PC.
While we’re still waiting for the official patch notes, the users with the game reported that the patch includes improvements to framerate, reloading time, texture streaming, audio and shadow quality. These are accompanied by features such as mid-mission stats and screenshot previews.
Dishonored 2 will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on November 11th, though those who pre-ordered the game will be able to start playing it tomorrow.
