Finally, the wait has come to an end. The Disgaea 7 release is coming this January 26th to Japan, only 23 years after the release of its first game Disgaea: Hour of Darkness in 2003. With the release so close, it’s not surprising that we got more trailers before the game’s launch. In this case, the Disgaea 7 trailer shows its new main character, a samurai demon named Fuji.

For those who aren’t familiar with the Disgaea saga, it’s a well-known tactical RPG title. In it, you have the ability to customize many characters to your heart’s content. A bonus is that you can do it with anime-like graphics, which are quite popular right now. Almost always, its main story focuses on the conflict of liberating some territory from a tyrant or saving it from annihilation. These titles take place in a series of different alternate universes called Netherworld. But now, Disgaea 7 will take place in a Japan-based world.

The first Disgaea 7 trailer was revealed on August 2022, where we could see this Japanese world. Plus, we got the chance to see its main characters. An otaku girl known as Piririka and a wandering samurai named Fuji. This last Disgaea 7 trailer was dedicated to Fuji, which showcases the character in depth. He is a fierce fighter, and competitive, and whoever he defeats becomes his minion. He is always accompanied by his sword Kanzan Musashi, which has the ability to slash through anything. If you’re excited about this upcoming title, you can’t miss its release at the end of January 2023. However, if you haven’t played it before, this is your chance to do so. Disgaea has great popularity among players and has sold a large number of copies. Also, its first game Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, was named one of the best tactical RPGs of all time.
