Coming this Fall, you can get your hands on Disgaea 4 Complete+. It is being released via Steam from NIS America, which is a subsidiary of Nippon Ichi Software, Inc famous for RPG games such as Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk. The story of Disgaea 4 Complete + centers on a world full of vampires, angels, failed Final Bosses, werewolves, and devilish entities. The newly reformed tyrant Valvatorez must face the threat of Corrupternment that has come to his land. He calls upon his allies, builds an army, and counters political unrest in this dark but witty game. It’s a tale of love, redemption, revolutions, and kept promises.
The gameplay is tactics-based, with a multitude of special abilities and over the top action. You can now increase your character’s level even further than before and build custom maps. There is also an online component that lets you get into other players’ games. It comes with 30 unlockable characters, extra story campaigns, and enhancements to the traditional Disgaea formula.
While Disgaea 4 Complete + is launching on PC this fall, the game will not immediately come with all the features. Those will come with later updates to the game pending a smooth process of the launch. Note that this is via Xbox Game Pass for PC.
For those that enjoy games directly from Japan, there will be a great deal to love about Disgaea 4 Complete +. Currently, there are five chronological Disgaea games out for other systems, but this enhanced version of the fourth game has not reached PC.
The text for the game is available in English, Japanese, French, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese, making it accessible for fans all around the world, although the audio itself is only in English or Japanese.
