1C Entertainment has announced they will be publishing the single-player retro shooter, Diluvian Ultra, a game that has been developed by the Swedish team, Cresthelm Studios. The game’s got a brand-new demo that will be dropping at the Steam Next Fest on June 13th, before the game is fully released on Early Access on Steam in the Fall.

This isn’t the only news regarding Diluvian Ultra, though, because the makers have also released an exclusive announcement trailer, so you can see what this game is all about. You can watch the trailer below.

What is Diluvian Ultra all About?

This single-player retro shooter delivers a sprite-based, hardcore experience that puts you in the feisty boots of an undead prince. Players will take control of Atilla, the undead prince in question, who has awoken from slumber and finds himself deep in space while his ship is being invaded. These enemies could be old ones that seek revenge, and you must discover why, or they could be mysterious new villains that aim to wreak havoc. Atilla will need to dig deep into his powers to rid his ship of these foul enemies, and he’ll have fun doing it.

The Diluvian Ultra gameplay focuses on three pillars: Blood, Death, and the dual Damage system; you will also need to harness the power of the mystical Waystones you encounter throughout your journey. Sacrificing your own blood is the only way to activate these mysterious Waystones, but once triggered, you will have access to a multitude of powers.

Diluvian Ultra is all about strategy and being on your toes – brains will take you a lot further than brawn will. Speaking of brawn, you will have access to an arsenal that will strike fear into most enemies. You can rotate between Tech and Living Techno-Organic Weapons, as well as combine Lethal and Armour damage, but you also have the power of the Bloodsword, a weapon that will be your best friend throughout.

This single-player retro shooter is scheduled for release in Early Access on Steam in the Fall, so make sure you check out Diluvian Ultra, you wannabe princes.
