Bandai Namco has released some official gameplay footage for Digimon Survive, the visual novel game that fans around the world are talking about. This trailer will offer people the most significant insight into the upcoming tactical RPG after the previous June trailer only offered us so much. It hopes to showcase many more details than previously known since the game’s announcement was made official.

What We Know About Digimon Survive Already
In Digimon Survive, players’ choices will directly influence the outcome of the story and the digivolution aspect. Every playthrough you experience can result in various paths that you will need to take, and it will impact which digivolution will take place. This visual novel game will have multiple endings that will result in the player’s death – yes, it is as serious as that.
Digimon Survive will be split into five types of gameplays, which are as follows, Drama Parts, Search Action, Free Action, and Free Battle. During the Drama Parts mode, the game proceeds as a text adventure that tells the story. Search Actions allows the play to search for multiple ways of survival. Free Action forces the play to make more critical choices about where to go and who can be trusted during a certain time period. The final game type is Free Battle, a mode that lets players enter special areas so they can train their Digimon to the max.
Based on the gameplay trailer, Digimon Survive will be released on July 29th, 2022, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. However, next-gen players need not worry because the game will be compatible with those platforms as well.
