John McClane has been on many an adventure – but this latest Die Hard offering may prove to be his most zany yet.

In an exciting cross-promotion between Advance Auto Parts and the Die Hard movie franchise, Bruce Willis reprises his role as John McClane in a new recently-released Car Battery ad.

Check out the ad in all its humorous but grizzled glory below:

Not only does Willis return, but De’voreaux White also returns as limousine driver Argyle and Clarence Gilyard as Hans Grubers’ former tech specialist, Theo.

The official synopsis for the ad reads:

A nostalgic callback to the original Die Hard, the short film has McClane climbing through the iconic air-vent. At the end of the small feature, Argyle even shouts, “Yippie-Ki-Yay,” after which McClane protests, “That’s my line!”

Oh, and in between? You can watch McClane fend off an assailant with his DieHard-brand Car Battery. There really is nothing like it.

This is Bruce Willis’s sixth canonical appearance as John McClane. The 65-year-old actor has portrayed the character throughout all five feature-length films. The series started in 1988 with Die Hard, with the latest being 2013’s A Good Day to Die Hard. A prequel series, simply titled McClane, is currently in production and set for streaming.

If you want to get your hands on the DieHard car battery, you can check out Advance Autoparts’ website. There is a whole range of colors available, including Platinum, Silver, and Gold. Each battery offers a different timeframe for a free replacement.

Just promise not to use the battery to attack anyone, like Die Hard‘s John McClane!
