The Battlefield 4 Beta begins on October 1st, and will gave Battlefield fans their first taste of what to expect from the shooter when it arrives later in the month. Being so close to release of the final product, some say that this isn’t so much a beta as it is a demo. Not true according to Patrick Bach of EA who dished new details about the Battlefield 4 Beta in the video above.
“Even if it we’re doing it quite late, we still have the opportunity to do some things. Of course we want to get feedback — not only from the beta, but also from the game when its out on the market. We have a history of following up with the game for months and months after it’s been released. To us it’s an ongoing service.”
Bach also noted that there would not be a beta for Battlefield 4 on the Xbox One and PS4.
The Battlefield 4 Beta will be available exclusively to pre-order customers, Battlefield Premium subscribers, and Medal of Honor purchasers for a brief period before going live for all on October 4th.
