Blizzard’s Diablo Immortal is the company’s first excursion into mobile gaming, but PC gamers aren’t left out since they can join in as well. The sequel is based on the popular Diablo franchise, and it will have fans slaying demons while gathering various goodies. That is all nice and well, but the question on many peoples’ minds is: Can you change the PC resolution? If you’re wondering how to alter the game’s display as well, this tutorial will show if you can.

Changing the PC Resolution in Diablo Immortal

Is it possible in Diablo Immortal to change the resolution on a PC? Sadly, for the time being, the answer seems to be no.

There doesn’t appear to be anything you can do about the game’s preset resolution of 1080p. Whether you have the graphics turned up or not, if you’re playing on a 4K display or something larger than the default, the game won’t look especially well.

It’s worth noting that Diablo Immortal is still in beta, meaning there’s still a chance that Blizzard will include the ability to modify your PC resolution. However, bear in mind that the game is primarily aimed at mobile devices, so we’ll have to wait and see how dedicated they are to keeping PC users happy.

We have tried changing the command line arguments to force the game into displaying itself for a 4k screen, but nothing seemingly changed.

One way to solve the stretching of the application is to play in windowed mode. Do this by pressing Alt + Enter. If you want to revert to full screen, just press that combination again.

Changing the Resolution Quality

The only thing that seems to be possible at the moment is to change the quality of the resolution. Here is how to adjust it:

  • Open the Menu (the three horizontal lines icon) on the upper side of the screen
  • Click on the Settings (the cogs image) button
  • Select the Graphics tab and choose from Medium, High, and Ultra from the Image Accuracy category

Another supposed bug or feature in the works is that the Ultra setting does not function for some players. So, if you’re in that situation, choose the High option and hope for the best.

If you would like to check it out, Diablo Immortal is available on Android, iOS, and PC.
