It’s yet another Friday (June 17), which means Xur is back in Destiny 2 with a new location and a refreshed inventory. As always, we’re ready to provide you with all the details regarding his whereabouts, what he’s selling, and what you should pick up provided you’re looking for a fresh roll for particular pieces of gear. Last week Xur brought forth an alright exotic lineup, with a decent perk that week for the Dead Man’s Tale even if outclassed by some of the other variants. Destiny 2 Xur Location and Inventory (Week of June 17, 2022)

Location

This week, Xur is selling the following exotics alongside his usual exotic cipher quest:

  • Crimson Hand Cannon
  • Gemini Jester Hunter Legs
  • Aeon Safe Titan Gauntlets
  • Vesper of Radius Warlock Chest

This week’s rolls on the different armor aren’t anything to write home about. While there’s a decent stat distribution on the Gemini Jester that might be great for some, we’d suggest avoiding the others unless you don’t own the armor already.

Hawkmoon and Dead Man’s Tale

As per usual since the release of the Witch Queen expansion, Xur is selling both the Hawkmoon hand cannon and the Dead Man’s Tale scout rifle. For the Hawkmoon, you can expect Snapshot Sights which isn’t our favorite for the weapon but might be nice in PvP if you’re into that sort of thing. Fourth Time’s the Charm for the Dead Man’s Tale though can be quite nasty, as the precision rounds let you put out that extra bit of damage. It’s not as great as a Vorpal Weapon DMT, but it can be a welcome alternative.

Legendary Armor and Weapons

Finally, Xur is selling yet another set of random rolls for various legendary weapons and armor. This week, we’d highly suggest picking up the Hunter chestpiece for you speed lovers, as it offers a hefty bonus to Mobility with low remaining stats. Paired with the Stomp-ees, you can be an absolute speed demon. Warlocks unfortunately don’t have much to write home about this week, with some fairly mediocre rolls. And finally, Titans are about the same as the Warlocks this week.

For weapons, there are a few decent rolls such as Subsistence/Multikill Clip on the SMG, which can be a great roll for PvE shenanigans. Auto-Loading Holster/Ambitious Assassin on the rocket launcher can be another great roll for things such as raids, though other second perks could outperform it. Some in the community also find the Sidearm quite good, though we’d suggest looking into that yourself.
