Destiny 2 is well-known for its confusing choice of in-game vocabularies that gives FOMO (fear of missing out) effect among its current (and former) player base. Now, with Season of the Haunted, once again, Guardians are left confused regarding how the Iron Banner Daily Challenges in Destiny 2 Season 17 works.

Iron Banner Daily Challenge in Destiny 2 Explained

The explanation is actually pretty simple. Unlike the usual Daily Bounties, in Season of the Haunted, the Iron Banner Daily Challenge refers to a weekly challenge. Because four Daily Challenges will be added on different days and completing all four that appear within one week will give you extra rewards. You can check the challenges by hovering the cursor over the Iron Banner Activity in the Crucible menu.

Below is the list of when the Iron Banner Daily Challenge will appear in each week of Destiny 2 Season of the Haunted:

And this is the list of all Iron Banner Daily Challenges so far. We’ll update this article later when more Daily Challenges have been added:

  • Daily Challenge 1: Complete three Iron Banner matches with a Void or Solar subclass equipped.
  • Daily Challenge 2: Complete four Iron Banner matches with a Void or Solar subclass equipped.

Completing one Iron Banner Daily Challenge will earn you Pinnacle Gear Engram and Iron Banner Rank points boost, helping you to grind faster through Valus Forge, a.k.a Lord Saladin’s reward levels. Thankfully, the Iron Banner Daily Challenges can be completed at any time during an Iron Banner week. In case you’re having trouble with your real-life daily schedules or having some FOMO anxiety, you can at least blast through them over the weekend.

Remember that if you’re new to this whole Iron Banner-thingy, you can try completing the introductory “Forging Iron” Quest, which will give you a better understanding of how the event works.

Destiny 2 is available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.
