Destiny 2 has today updated the game to update 4.0.1.2 on all platforms, so here’s the full list of changes and fixes with this patch. If you were hoping to see a wide array of bugs fixed or things changed this week, then you’ll likely be left starkly disappointed. That’s because there’s but a single change that’s been made this week, though in its defense, that change is very nice for those farming Master Vow of the Disciple for some of its drops. In fact, it’ll even give you a much higher chance at scoring yourself some solid weapons and armor instead of something merely worth scrapping. Without further adieu, here’s the single change for Destiny 2 update 4.0.1.2!

Destiny 2 Update 4.0.1.2 Patch Note

Activities

  • Vow of the Disciple

  • Removed class items from Master difficulty reward pool for encounter completions.

.As you can see, there’s a total of one thing that’s been changed this week, though it is a nice change regardless. The fact that Master Vow of the Disciple even dropped class items to begin with is rather comical, seeing as you can’t get anything better out of a class mod in Master mode as compared to Normal mode. Having that out of the pool gives a higher chance of scoring some of the other goodies, so it’s a good change to see.

On the bright side though, this isn’t all that’s happening for Destiny 2 this week. Guardian Games have returned this week, bringing with it a whole new set of weapons and challenges to complete for your individual class. The best class out there wins the tournament, so best of luck scoring that sweet loot. A Trials Lab also begins on May 6, bringing with it the option for the community to pick a map to play on. Hopefully, you can score that Flawless Trials run this week, though who knows what’ll happen.

Destiny 2 and update 4.0.1.2 are available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles. For more information regarding this update, check out the official Bungie site.
