Destiny 2 has been out for a few weeks now. Players are starting to find the best build for their characters with all the new DLC and updates. Warlocks have always been a popular class in Destiny, and this season is no different. Here is our guide on the Best Warlock Build in Destiny 2 (Season 17).

Warlocks have always had a strong presence in Destiny 2. And with the introduction of The Witch Queen expansion, they only got stronger. With new ways to customize a Guardian’s subclass, players have been looking towards the current sandbox and creating new builds to farm the most challenging content, both in PvE and the Crucible.

Out of every class, Warlocks have some of the most robust options. Significant Subclasses and Exotics allow for powerful build combinations that can be taken further with certain weapons or seasonal mods. It ranges from aggressive dashes to chaining grenades infinitely. Warlock builds are sure to impress in either PvE or PvP.

PVP: Firing Squad

Destiny 2‘s Season of the Chosen has brought many changes to the game. One of the most significant is the new Destiny Content Vault. This has resulted in the removal of many weapons and armor, but it has also given rise to some interesting new builds. For Warlocks, one of the best builds is the No Time to Explain Exotic Pulse Rifle. This weapon creates a time portal that fires at enemies with incredible accuracy, and with the Stormcaller subclass, You may also call forth an Arc Soul or “Arc Buddy” to team-attack every foe that dares approach you. When your portal and Arc Soul are active, the Time-to-kill values are shallow. You can also get a solid Super in the form of Chaos Reach. If you despise PvP but must participate in 6v6 weeklies, give this approach a go.

PVP: Umbral Shadebinder

This is probably the most potent Warlock build in Destiny 2 right now. It revolves around the new Umbral Engrams, which can be earned by completing certain activities during the Season of the Hunt. These Engrams can be decoded to earn powerful rewards, including weapons and armor. The Umbral Engrams can also be “attuned” to certain elements, and when you have an attuned Umbral Engram, you can infuse it with an element of your choice. This gives you a lot of flexibility in terms of what damage you deal with, and it also means that you can change your element on the fly to adapt to the situation.

The primary weapons you’ll want to use with this build are the Arcus and Stormcaller Exotics. The Arcus is a bow that can fire Void arrows, and it’s mighty in both PvE and PvP. The Stormcaller is an Exotic Fusion Rifle that can be charged up to fire a powerful Arc bolt, and it’s also great for both PvE and PvP. With these two weapons, you’ll be able to deal a lot of damage and have many options for dealing with different situations.

You’ll also want to use the Chaos Reach Super, as it’s excellent for both PvE and PvP. This Super allows you to fire a powerful energy blast that can deal a lot of damage, and it’s also great for crowd control. The main thing you’ll want to do with this build is to keep moving and stay out of the line of fire, as you’ll be able to deal a lot of damage from a distance.

Destiny 2: Xur Location and Inventory (Week of July 29, 2022)

PVP: Echo Of Magnetism

This is an excellent build for those who want to be aggressive and deal much damage. It revolves around the Echo Of Magnetism Exotic, which allows you to chain your grenades together. This means that you can deal a lot of damage in a short period, and it’s also great for crowd control.

Destiny 2‘s Crucible is about making the other guy feel the pain. And with this build, you can make them feel like never before. Thanks to Verity’s Brow and a few select Fragments, your Void grenades can be turned into one-shot killers that activate Devour and Volatile Rounds. In other words, you become the ultimate slayer in 6v6 modes. So crank up the lethality of Void 3.0 to 11 and show those other Guardians who’s boss.

PVE: The Sunbreaker

The Sunbreaker is one of the Best Warlock Build in Destiny 2 (Season 17), as it’s mighty in PvE. This build revolves around using the Solar subclass, and it’s all about dealing as much damage as possible. The primary weapons you’ll want to use with this build are the Sunshot and Prometheus Lens Exotics. The Sunshot is a Solar hand cannon that can deal a lot of damage, and the Prometheus Lens is a Solar trace rifle that can also deal a lot of damage. With these two weapons, you’ll be able to deal a lot of damage and have many options for dealing with different situations.

You’ll also want to use the Solar grenade, as it’s excellent for dealing with large groups of enemies.

So, what is the best Warlock build for Season 17? It depends on your playstyle. Do you like to rush in and deal damage up close, or do you prefer to hang back and support your team? Many different combinations can work well, so experiment until you find one that fits your style. With the new DLC out now, there’s no better time to jump into Destiny 2 and start building the ultimate Warlock!
