Before we get started, it’s important to keep in mind that this guide will be focusing on some of the best perks you can get in each slot, though your choice will depend on the use case and what you like in a gun. With that footnote out of the way, let’s get into the bread and butter.
Starting off in the first column (barrel), you’re going to look for either Hammer-Forged Rifling or Smallbore. These are chosen due to their flat increases in Range (or in stability if you choose Smallbore). While it’s suggested you farm for that Hammer-Forged Rifling, since it provides a hefty +10 to Range, Smallbore is a good compromise with +7 Range and +7 Stability. Following this up is the magazine, which should absolutely be Extended Magazine. You could even throw in High-Impact Reserves instead of Kill Clip, though it does have its downsides with earlier bullets being unaffected.
