We’re taking a look at the Edgewise, which is one of Destiny 2’s new Ritual Weapons that can be obtained in the Shadowkeep expansion! You’ll need to complete a small quest to obtain this Machine Gun.
Ritual Weapons have replaced the old Pinnacle Weapons that were popular among collectors. These new weapons will no longer have special perks and will instead feature curated rolls. This seems to be a way to keep things more fair across the board, and will make it easier to balance in the future.
Edgewise Perks
- Rapid-Fire Frame - Deeper ammo reserves. Slightly faster reload when magazine is empty. Rampage - Kills with this weapon temporarily grant increased damage. Stacks 3x.
Edgewise Quest Steps
If you want to earn the Edgewise Machine Gun, you’ll need to head on over to Comander Zavala and receive the First Impressions quest:
You’ll need to complete the following objectives to complete this quest:
“Heavy ordnance requisition approved, Guardian. Make your presence known to the enemies of humanity, far and wide.” —Commander Zavala
- Points Scored: 10,000 [Machine Gun] Final blows: 1,000 [Solar Kill] Final blows: 1,500
Once you’ve completed those objectives, you’ll just need to return to Zavala at the Tower and receive your reward!
