Destiny 2’s newest end-game Raid activity is now live. The Spire of Stars Raid Lair became available as of 12pm CT today, offering a new challenge in the Leviathan ship.

The game’s first Raid, Leviathan, was released in September after the launch of Destiny 2. It revolved around a team of six Guardians entering the massive flagship of Emperor Calus, the leader of the Cabal.

After completing various tasks, puzzles, and battles within the ship, the Guardians met with Calus for a final boss battle—only it wasn’t really Calus at all. The Guardians eventually find out that they are fighting a robotic mimic of the Emperor, and find a massive room filled with robots just like it after winning the fight.

In the Curse of Osiris DLC in December, Guardians returned to Leviathan for the shorter but still enjoyable Raid Lair, Eater of Worlds. It was there that Calus, who revealed himself as wanting to team up with the Guardians, tasked you with taking out a massive Vex boss that had been swallowed by the Leviathan.

Now, Guardians return to the Leviathan for another Raid Lair. It’s still a secret what Calus has in store this time around, but players are hoping for a chance to finally come face-to-face with the Emperor who wants them to “grow fat from strength.”

Spire of Stars has a recommended Power level of 370. This might be something of an ending to the Calus saga, as a new large-scale expansion for Destiny 2 is scheduled to release some time this fall. With hopes of a brand-new Raid looming, it would be great to put a bow on the Leviathan and move on to something new.
