The leaks just keep on coming.

It wouldn’t be E3 without our usual leaks, and this one is a doozy. Found on ResetEra, it looks like Destiny 2’s newest expansion will be called Shadowkeep, and from what we can tell, it will be the darkest entry in the series yet. Better yet, it looks like the expansion will be releasing this Fall.

According to the post, Guardians will undertake a new dangerous venture on a “forgotten moon.” This includes going into a “mysterious enemy citadel” which may be the return of a special Hive filled level. This coincided with the reveal of a brand new Raid, the Crown of Sorrow, which was also shown off this week. Perhaps the two are connected, or maybe the Raid is just something to tide us over until the new expansion comes out.

This will start up the Third Year of content once it launches this Fall, but other than the aforementioned name, their isn’t a whole lot to go on. Still, this will be the first major piece of content that Bungie will be producing since they split from Activision earlier this year. We’ll be sure to find out more when Bungie has their special Destiny 2 livestream this Thursday, June 6 at 10:00 am PST. Stay tuned as their are sure to be more leaks and reveals this week as we continue our road to E3 2019.
