The universe of Destiny 2 is filled with different quests that players can complete and earn experience points to level up. There are many types of quests that might encounter in Destiny 2, and one of these types is collecting some items. In the Season of Plunder quest, you will be asked to collect Treasure Coordinates, and here is how to get them in Destiny 2.

How to Get Treasure Coordinates in Destiny 2

Treasure Coordinates are a new material type you must collect as part of the Destiny 2 Season of Plunder quest. With Treasure Coordinates, you will be able to create a Treasure Map. This is the type of activity you will be doing all seasons long, so it is best to know how to find Treasure Coordinates.

There are two types of maps you can create. One is the Basic Treasure Map that can be created with 50 Treasure Coordinates, and the other is the Glimmer Treasure Map that you can create with 60 Treasure Coordinates.

Both these maps will reward you with Plundered Umbral Energy and Expedition Gear. You can use Treasure Maps in the Captain’s Atlas book that can be accessed from the quest menu, which will grant you an extra chest at the end of Expeditions.

You can get Treasure Coordinates by completing activities like Crucible matches, strikes, Gambit matches, and Season of Plunder activities. But there is a quicker way to get them in Destiny 2.

The first step is to unlock the first Navigator Pirate Crew upgrade, which is available on the Star Chart. After that, unlock Halsiks and the Sniper for Season of Plunder activities. Doing this will increases the drop rate of Treasure Coordinate on defeated combatants.
