Suppose you’re one of the lucky ones who have already obtained the Divinity exotic trace rifle in Destiny 2; congratulations! For everyone else, here’s a guide on how to get it. Bungie has been tight-lipped about getting this weapon, but we’ve figured it out. So read on for all the details.

What is the Divinity Exotic Trace Rifle in Destiny 2, and what are its stats?

The Divinity exotic trace rifle is a new weapon introduced in Destiny 2’s Season of Opulence. It’s a powerful weapon that deals void damage and is described as a “rifle that fires concentrated void pellets that insulate targets on impact, causing them to explode.” The Divinity also comes with two unique perks:

Concentrated Fire: This perk causes successive shots to deal more damage.

Explosive Light: void Damage from this weapon causes targets to explode.

The Divinity exotic trace rifle is a powerful weapon that can be very useful in PvP and PvE situations. In PvP, the trace rifle can quickly take out enemy guardians. In PvE, the Divinity can be used significantly against enemies resistant to other damage types.

How do you get the Divinity Exotic Trace Rifle in Destiny 2?

Destiny 2 players looking to add the Divinity Exotic Trace Rifle to their collection are in for a challenge. The first step is relatively easy – obtain the Divine Fragmentation quest item. After that, the Garden of Salvation raid must be completed successfully. Players must complete the laser puzzles and defeat the last boss of the same raid run to receive the Divinity Exotic Trace Rifle. Players are unable to use the lasers at a later time; all must take place in the same session.

To start your quest for Divinity, you’ll need to travel to the Moon and head to the Sorrow’s Harbor fast travel point. You’ll need to trek across the Lunar Battlegrounds and a vast cave system from there. Once you enter the cavernous space, you’ll find a giant Vex gate at the back.

As you approach the gate, hordes of enemies will start pouring through. Defeat all foes to bring forth Redemptive Mind, a huge Vex known as Zeteon. Once you defeat him, he’ll drop an Exotic engram. Pick it up to start the Divine Fragmentation quest.

The Divine Fragmentation quest

The Divine Fragmentation quest is the perfect way to test your skills against the most formidable challenge in Destiny 2 – the Garden of Salvation raid. To complete the quest, you’ll need to collect Vex parts, solve puzzles, and defeat the final boss. It’s a good idea to have this quest ready before you attempt the raid. That way, you don’t have to organize two raid attempts. There are four steps  to the quest:

Step 1:

If you’re looking to add the Divinity Exotic Trace Rifle in Destiny 2 to your collection, the first step is to analyze some Vex cores. These cores are located in three specific Lost Sectors on Nessus: The Orrery, Ancient Haunt, and The Conflux. To find them, keep an eye out for the glowing boxes – they’re pretty hard to miss. Once you’ve discovered one, engage it and generate enemies. After eliminating the arachnids, return to the core and interact with it again to finish one of the studies. Simple, right? Remember: you’ll need to do this three times before fully unlocking your Divinity.

Step 2:

Collect 120 Sol Divisive Vex parts by eliminating Vex in the Garden of Salvation raid or Vex Offensives on the Moon. This should be completed as soon as possible following a Vex Offensive assault. Going to the same spot on the Moon where you obtained the quest will help you finish it fast. Unfortunately, you’ll need to complete the Garden of Salvation raid to receive Divinity after Season of the Undying. Go in, get the kills you require, and then continue to the next stage. The good news is that with a bit of patience and perseverance, you should be able to get this done without too much trouble.

Step 3:

After your long and grueling journey to Eris, you will finally be able to purchase the Empowered Decryption Core from the Lectern of Enchantment. This magnificent core will require a hefty amount of Phantasmal Fragments, 30. But don’t worry, if you don’t have enough Phantasmal Fragments, you can always farm more. Alternatively, you could always visit the Lectern of Enchantment and purchase the Empowered Decryption Core.

Step 4:

Last, players must find several secret rooms in the Garden of Salvation raid and solve a laser puzzle to access Divinity. Before and after each encounter, one laser sequence is used. The player must first locate and activate a Vex terminal, at which point a message will appear on the screen stating: INITIATED: Security.

After that, you’ll need to find the laser puzzle and connect the lasers from start to end, solving each problem. The game’s goal is for the laser to pass through each diamond, causing them to change color as it does when the laser penetrates each diamond and reaches the ultimate terminal. A message will show on the screen: ACCEPTED: Singularity security breach detected.

Once you have completed the last step, return to Zavala to receive your well-earned prize – the Divinity Exotic Trace Rifle.

Congratulations! You have now completed the Divine Fragmentation quest and earned yourself the Divinity Exotic Trace Rifle. This powerful weapon will come in handy during tough fights, allowing you to take down enemies easily. With its devastating damage and unique perks, the Divinity is a must-have for any Guardian looking to up their game.
