Celebrating Destiny 2 release on the Epic Games Store, the Lighfall expansion announcement, as well as the Fortnite crossover collaboration, Bungie is giving away the 30th Anniversary Pack that includes an exclusive Dungeon and the notorious Gjallarhorn Rocket Launcher. But there’s a tiny caveat if you want to claim the free Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack for your Destiny 2 account…
How to Get the Free Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack in Destiny 2
Getting the free Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack for your Destiny 2 account is really easy despite the aforementioned warning. All you need to do is open the Epic Games Store app or the website on your PC, search for the “Destiny 2 Bungie Pack“, open the page, and click on the Get button.
So yeah, the caveat here is you have to download Epic Games Store on your PC. And obviously, if you haven’t had an account yet, you will have to create one first. However, keep in mind these two conditions in order to claim the free pack:
- You have to download the game through the Epic Games Store first (the base Destiny 2 game is free-to-play, but it does eat up 100+ GB).
- And the free offer ends on 31 August 2022. So you should act fast!
Once claimed, don’t forget to link your Bungie.net profile with your Epic Games Store account through Bungie.net’s Cross-Save page. Now, you can complete “And Out Fly The Wolves” Quest from Shaw Han at the Cosmodrome on either Epic, Steam, PlayStation, or Xbox to unlock the Gjallarhorn. Other armor and Legendary weapons in the pack can be obtained, and the Dares of Eternity Activity can be played even if you don’t play Destiny 2 using the Epic Games Store launcher; however, the Claws of Greed Dungeon will be locked to your Epic account.
Destiny 2 is available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.
