Our guide to obtaining the Oxygen SR3 Scout Rifle will walk you through the steps need to get this new Pinnacle Weapon in Season of the Drifter. This is a pretty nice Scout Rifle, it has the unique perk called Meganeura. Each time you hit a precision shot, it will increase the elemental damage explosion of Dragonfly (elemental damage explosion after a precision kill). It stacks up to 3 times with each extra stack dealing more damage.

To increase this weapon’s potential even further, you can add Dragonfly Spec as a Weapon Mod which increases the radius and damage of Dragonfly.

Zavala and Ikora sat together on a wooden trellis, legs dangling, soaked to the bone, looking out at the City lights below.

“Aunor leaked about a dozen documents today,” Ikora said.

Despite himself, Zavala smiled. “Did she?”

“I managed to redact a few, but. She embedded the rest in your manifests.”

“She reminds me a lot of you.”

Ikora nodded, then leaned back to look up at the rain as it fell. “Yes. I agree.”

Rain beaded on the tip of Zavala’s nose. He raised his hand to brush it away, keeping his gaze fixed steadily on the City. “What would you have me do?”

“Nothing. She’s mine to manage, and… She’s not a child. None of them are, Zavala. We owe them all more than we’re giving.”

“Yes…” he agreed, then added gently, “But they owe us more than they’re giving, too.”

Ikora chuckled dryly. “Yes. Of course. The benefit of the doubt. And compassion. But.” She squinted against the rain. “Our feelings don’t matter right now. We need to be people they want to follow, not people they mistrust and want to fight.”

“Respect is mutual,” Zavala said, “but I agree.” He took a deep breath, looking up at the belly of the Traveler: present but inert. Completely, maddeningly, heartrendingly inert. “We will be better. This will pass.”

Ikora closed her eyes.

They were quiet a while.

“I wish Cayde were here,” she whispered.

Zavala set his hand on Ikora’s knee and swallowed a knot in his throat. “Me, too.”

“Strike operations remains the backbone of our defense against the enemies of humanity. I cannot overstate their importance. And, as Cayde always said… Teamwork makes the dream work.” — Commander Zavala

Step 2: Complete The Best Offense Triumph

You’ll need to get 1,000 Precision final blows, generate 500 Orbs, and complete a bunch of Strikes and Nightfalls to complete this Triumph. Precision final blows are headshots, so just finish a lot of enemies off with blows to the dome. Orbs can be generated by using Masterworks weapons, another option is to use your super and get kills with it. Normal strikes will give you 1-2%, and Nightfalls will give you 5-6% towards your completion of the Triumph.

If you have a Hunter available, you should run the Nightstalker subclass. You can use your super to tether a bunch of enemies, and each time you shoot a tethered enemy in the head it will deal precision hit damage to the other tethered enemies. So, not only will you get a bunch of precision blows, you’ll also generate a lot of orbs of Light. You can also combine this with Orpheus Rig, which will pretty much generate another ultimate very quickly.

If you want to solo some Nightfall Strikes, you should grab the Five of Swords Challenge Card from Xur. You can lower the difficulty of the Nightfalls making them a lot easier to do!
