In Destiny 2, Kindling is a resource introduced as part of the annual Solstice 2022. Together with Silver Leaves and Silver Ash, it is used for upgrading your armor by imbuing it with upgraded stats. You can earn Kindling by completing event challenges as part of the Solstice event. How to Get Kindling
Your route to earning Kindling starts by completing the “Celebrating Solstice’ quest, which serves as a tutorial for the Solstice event. Importantly, it takes you through the process of earning Silver Leaves, how to transform them to Silver Ash, and how to apply them to your Candescent Armor. By completing this quest, you will earn your first Kindling, yah!
Now comes the interesting part; adding Kindling to Candescent Armor. For this, open the armor and select the second to last mod slot, as shown in the image above. After the mod is open, spend your Kindling by sliding it in. This will subsequently ‘imbue’ your armor with Glowing Embers. Notably, the slot will now get larger requiring two more Kindlings. And that’s just of the many exciting things about this challenge, as it requires upping your game as you progress.
