Introduced in the Season of the Chosen of The Witch Queen expansion, War Table is a new vendor located within the H.E.L.M. social area above the Tower in Destiny 2. This aptly named vendor is the place where you can pick up Bounties for the Battlegrounds Activities. It can also be upgraded to increase the chance of getting equipment or additional currencies by spending Insights. These Insights are rather hard to come by, so here’s how you can obtain Insights and upgrade the War Table in Destiny 2.

How to Obtain Insight to Upgrade War Table Reputation in Destiny 2

To earn Insights, all you need to do is complete specific Weekly Seasonal Challenges. Seasonal Challenges, which have replaced Weekly Bounties, are weekly tasks that require you to perform and complete various objectives. Open the Seasonal Challenges menu (located at the top of the Quests menu or the bottom of the Season Pass menu) after you complete the Challenges to redeem the rewards. Make sure to do the ones that give you Insight as the rewards to be able to redeem them.

Nevertheless, you can only get a (very) limited amount of Insights from these Seasonal Challenges. For example, the Seasonal Quest “Operation Elbrus” from Week 1 of Season of the Risen that tasked you with completing the “Psychogenic Decoder” Challenge will only give you 1 Insight. A new set of Challenges usually is set to show up every Tuesday after the weekly reset, and with that, you can eventually get more Insights from them.

The War Table upgrade themselves are split into two categories:

  • The blue-colored Requisition Upgrades.
  • And the red Operational Upgrades.

Requisition Upgrades will increase the chance of you getting high-stat seasonal equipment. Meanwhile, Operational Upgrades increase the number of currencies you gain from various in-game Activities and Missions. To upgrade the War Table in Destiny 2, simply interact with it, then click on the wide Upgrade banner inside the War Table menu, as seen in ZaFrostPet’s video above.

Destiny 2 is available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.
