Destiny 2: The Witch Queen brings plenty of new features to help enhance your experience, and just one of those is the new weapon crafting system! Through the new Enclave area, you can curate a weapon of your choice to have specific perk rolls and work exactly how you’d like it. One of the more rare materials you can get, and one that’s incredibly useful for the crafting of certain exotic weapons is the new Ascendant Alloy material. If you’re confused on how to get this material, we have you covered. In this guide, we’ll explain how to get Ascendant Alloy in Destiny 2!

How to Get Ascendant Alloy in Destiny 2

There are actually a few ways you can secure yourself more Ascendant Alloy. The first and arguably easiest way to get it is to purchase it from Master Rahool in the Tower. Keep in mind though that if you choose to go this route, you’re looking at 400 legendary shards to score just one Alloy. That’s a pretty penny, unless you’re like me and somehow have around 2000 saved up for one reason or another.

Another way you can score some Ascendant Alloy is by reaching Rank 16 with Banshee-44 in the Tower. You can score more reputation with him by completing Gunsmith bounties and dismantling weapons/armor, though it’ll be an uphill battle. Still, a free Ascendant Alloy is a free one at the end of the day.

The final way is through various events on Savathun’s Throne World. These can be found rarely through either repeatable Witch Queen campaign missions, or more enjoyable through the Wellspring offensive missions as another rare drop. These will require some grinding, but then again, so will the other options on this list.
