For a long time now, Destiny 2 has given fans a unique arsenal of weapons to choose from when taking on enemy factions. And now with the newly released Witch Queen Expansion pack for year five, gamers can try out the game’s first first-person perspective melee weapon, “The Glaive.” The new Exotic Glaive weapon in Destiny 2 gives gamers the option to either attack enemies from a distance with energy projectiles or run up and stab them at close range. Both of which yield the same satisfying results and are fun to play. So for fans eager to try this weapon out, here is how to craft Exotic Glaives in Destiny 2.
Fans can get their hands on their first glaive by crafting it with one of the relics found on Savathun’s Ship, part of the first campaign mission in the Witch Queen expansion. This black relic can be found by players hovering over a pedestal on the back of the ship. Once gamers pick it up, return it to the weapon crafting area of the Enclave to make the Enigma Glaive. Once this is crafted, fans will need to complete some extra missions to shape that glaive into three exotic versions for Hunters, Titans, and Warlocks. However, there are some steps to complete before gamers can get here.
How to get Exotic Glaives in Destiny 2
To craft the Exotic Glaive that best suits fans, they will need to complete “The Investigation” mission in the Witch Queen’s campaign and access the evidence board. Once this is unlocked, gamers will access a new set of quests nicknamed “Reports.” Six new Report Missions will now be unlocked titled; Resonance-Comp, Altar-Reflect, Relic-Data, Pyramid-Inspect, Steps-Retraced, and Scorn-Order. Players will have to beat all of these as a prerequisite to unlock the final Report Mission called “Reverse-Lure.”
Players should receive the Osmic Fragment to set a trap for Immaru and the Lucent Hive for the Reverse-Lure mission. After verifying that the Lucent Brood stole the Osmic Fragment, follow it back to its hideout in Queen Bailey’s while taking out the enemies along the way. Once players are in the final all-white room with red flowers, defeat all enemies and take the Osmic Fragment back along with the Resonant Runes dropped. Bring all this to the evidence board to unlock the Exotic Glaive recipe that belongs to the class fans are currently playing and finally craft some exotic glaives in Destiny 2. Luckily, if fans still want to craft the other two glaives, they can find the patterns for the Wellspring Activity in Destiny 2.
Edge of Intent Exotic Glaive in Destiny 2
The Edge of Intent is the Exotic Glaive for the Warlock class. This glaive can summon a healing turret that restores health to players and their teammates.
Edge of Concurrence Exotic Glaive
The Edge of Concurrence is the Exotic Glaive weapon in Destiny 2 for the Hunter class. This glaive can unleash a special chain lightning attack that hits multiple enemies.
Edge of Action Exotic Glaive
The Edge of Action is the Exotic Glaive for the Titan class. After a controlled shot, this glaive can project a special shield around themselves and their teammates.
