Part of what makes Destiny 2 fun for gamers is the wide variety of challenging missions that can be taken on with a group of friends. And with the addition of the new Dead Messenger Exotic mission for The Witch Queen year five expansion, fans will have their hands full. However, there is a light at the tunnel’s end since a powerful new weapon is given as a reward for completing this seasonal quest. It should be noted that this quest can only be attempted if gamers have finished the pre-requisite missions, such as the Operation Elbrus quest. Additionally, this mission has an insanely high-level requirement, which is recommended to only try if players have reached 1550, so some grinding might be needed. So to help fans deal with the dangerous tasks ahead of them here is how to complete the Vox Obscura mission in Destiny 2.

How to Complete Vox Obscura

Hangar

The first step in the Vox Obscura mission is to sneak onto a hangar on the surface of Mars. Defeat the Cabal enemies standing in the way and hack open the door to enter. A hallway inside will lead to some turrets that’ll fire at players. Use the nearby cover and take them out as quickly as possible. Once at the top of the ramp, there will be three Psions patrolling the interceptor tanks. Defeat all three of them to start the next phase of the mission then.

Airfield

The next phase of the Destiny 2 Vox Obscura mission is to clear the airfield, among other tasks, all within 4:30 minutes. On top of this, respawning has also been restricted, so fans will need to be extra careful. If players are doing this mission in a group, splitting the tasks evenly among teammates is ideal.

Use the nearby interceptors to destroy the wall and extra cabal enemies that come through. After they are all gone, move to the next objective area and take out the wave of enemy vehicles and Goliath Tanks. When this is finished, take out the power supplies at the bottom of the tower to complete this phase.

Control Room

Once gamers have wiped out the enemies in the airfield, use vehicles to blast the hangar door apart and enter the control room. Fans will have 10 minutes to destroy three rooms full of enemies filled with Cabal Codewardens. Be sure to take out the Psion in the energy bubble first to remove the shield before fighting the Codewarden. Then, override the console and repeat the process for the following two rooms.

Dead Messenger Exotic Mission Qabix the Insurgent Boss

Lastly, fans will need to defeat Qabix, the Insurgent, in the final room. He is protected by three Psions in energy bubbles giving him a shield. Shoot down all the Psions first, and then save all the massive firepower when Qabix is vulnerable. Sadly, players will have to repeat this process twice since Qabix’s shield regenerates after each phase. When gamers finally kill Qabix, they head into the treasure room to get the Destiny 2 exotic weapon from the golden chest.
