Destiny 2’s Season of the Haunted has finally come. As promised, there’s a new seasonal activity to complete, as well as new armor sets, weapons, and a creepy vibe all around. We’re going into all things Destiny 2 since there’s so much to absorb, from Solar 3.0 to yet another list of weapon decorations. This tutorial explains how to complete this season’s Destiny 2 Sever-Grief activity.
Completing the Sever-Grief Activity in Destiny 2
During the season of the Haunted’s third week, you must complete Destiny 2’s Sever-Grief activity. This quest stars Crow and has a few more hauntings for the players to combat.
To begin Grief, go to the Moon and choose the activity from the bottom left corner, next to the Derelict Leviathan (Castellum). Even if you might be under-leveled, the event will bump up your PL to 1550, so players can participate even if they are newer to Destiny 2!
The Sever-Grief activity takes place in a new section of the Leviathan’s Underbelly. Gamers will come across an electric area that can’t be entered yet. Alternatively, take the right-hand route that leads to a tunnel.
After that, you’ll find yourself in a vast chamber with flowers and a few foes. Remove them and go on until you’re ready to install the first ritual amplifier. Before proceeding, pick up the bobblehead to the left.
Destiny 2’s electrical peril will be waiting for you next. Turn left next to the electrified room’s entrance to discover another one of the pods. Climb within it and blast it. Afterward, make your way to the center of the corridor and through the door.
You’ll come upon another open door that goes to the electrified chamber; ignore it and keep walking down the corridor. Go ahead and get the wrench at the end of the hall.
Destiny 2: How to Complete the Forging Iron Quest
You won’t be able to return through the entrance from before. It closed after passing through. Instead, proceed to the electrified room’s open gateway and use the crates to reach the ceiling.
Once the player has gotten to the top, they should carefully follow the ceiling route to the first room. To solve the dangerous puzzle ahead, jump down and deactivate the relay. Touching the water might result in a quick death, so avoid it at all costs.
You can proceed after releasing the security lockdown. Prepare to face a swarm of Scorn before putting the second ritual amplifier in place.
Go to the corner of the chamber with the large fan on the ground and leap over to the platforms to begin climbing. A few little bridges will open and close at random intervals. Luckily, they will re-activate themselves quickly. You’ll be in the Conduit after passing through. Talk to Commander Zavala here and set the third amplifier to continue the quest.
Players will find another pod imprisoned within a shield, as before, at the end of the passageway. Follow the same steps from a while back and make your way to the center of the chamber to descend below.
Now Begin the Severance with Commander Zavala. Face the Nightmare of Kethiks to accomplish this. For the boss to appear, you must first beat a group of Dreg. Once the Nightmare has been defeated, players will receive the Grief Trophy.
