There are some short quests and then some longer ones that will take many weeks, like The Bound in Sorrow in Destiny 2. Each week the next portion of the quest will be added to the game players can continue completing it. Now we have reached the fifth week, and here is the guide on how to complete the Bound in Sorrow Week 5 quests in Destiny 2.
How to Complete the Bound in Sorrow Week 5 Quests in Destiny 2
Week five of the Bound in Sorrow questline has started. The story of the quest began with Guardians exploring the Leviathan after its long absence, but players soon will notice that the ship is plagued with Nightmares. This week starts Caiatl’s involvement with Eris’s Severance Ritual aboard the Derelict Leviathan.
In the fifth week, players must go back to the Underbelly of the Leviathan. First, speak to Eris at the Crown of Sorrows. Then you must create a Bound Presence by completing a tier-three Nightmare Containment Ritual and expending 500 Vestiges of Dread. An urgent message will appear at the HELM in which Caiatl will talk about Dominus Ghaul’s Nightmare.
Caiatl will not participate in the ritual, which makes Eris concerned for the safety of The Empress. Guardians will travel to the Derelict Leviathan by accessing the Sever-Rage activity. The mission is almost identical to the previous missions but with some differences.
The first thing is that Coalition Allies will help defeat Calus’s Loyalists. Even though the empress is waiting at the end, Caiatl doesn’t want Guardians to interfere with her mental battle against Dominus Ghaul. But she fails without the help of Eris’s Severance Ritual ultimately.

Then players will discuss Calus’s connection to the darkness with Eris on the Moon. She instructs Guardians to complete the K1 Revelation Lost Sector and defeat the Nightmare inside. Then you will be led to the Enduring Abyss in search of more clues. And finally, you have to return to the HELM and speak to Eris once again.
Destiny 2 is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
