Destiny 2‘s Season of the Haunted has entered its seventh week. As part of this, the Grandmaster Nightfall Strikes also returned to Destin 2. There is a new rotation that comprises six Grandmaster Nightfalls each Season, and this season included an older Strike in the form of Insight Terminus. So here is the guide on how to beat Insight Terminus GM Nightfall (Season 17) in Destiny 2.
How to Beat Insight Terminus GM Nightfall (Season 17) in Destiny 2
The first section of the Insight Terminus GM requires players to hop on their Sparrows and go to a cave down on the right. Going this way, you will see several Vex enemies, including a Void-shielded Minotaur and two Barrier Champions. Clearing this room should be challenging if you go with an entire team.
The next room you go in features numerous regular Cabal soldiers, Psions, and a single Barrier Champion on the opposite side from where you go in. It is best to focus on clearing adds and then the Barrier Champion before dealing with the other enemies.
Then you will go through tunnels where some headless Vex Goblins will spawn. After you have dealt with the Goblins, you will have to activate a charging plate mechanism to proceed to the next area.
After you activate the plate, two Unstoppable Champions may spawn. If they do spawn, eliminate them as they are counted for Platinum rewards. Then some Gladiators and War Beasts will also spawn, so it’s important to deal with them first.
Then you will enter a giant grotto with Vex infrastructure with some Cabal enemies, including another Barrier Champion near the entrance. It is best not to get close and deal with them from afar.
Then you will have to pursue Kargen, the boss of the Insight Terminus GM. You have two options here. You can go where Kargen is standing and wait for the boss to run away or shoot from afar to make it run away.
Then multiple enemies will spawn, including another Barrier Champion and an Unstoppable Champion. Deal with them only if you are well-prepared; otherwise, it is best to move on to the next area.
Bear in mind that several Psions will also spawn near the entrance of the grotto, so you should deal with them immediately. But the Champions will be near the middle of the room. It is best to destroy the Barrier Champion first and then the Unstoppable Champion.
Then grab the Arc Charge so you could proceed to the next stage of the GM but getting the Arc Charge will spawn even more enemies. Two Barrier Champions and one Unstoppable Champion, so it is best to deal with the Champions as safely as possible. It is best to isolate them, keeping the other two stunned while the third is eliminated.
Once again, after defeating the Champions, another Arc Charge will spawn, which will spawn other enemies as well. First, deal with the enemies and then deposit the Arc Charge to open the portal.
You can reach the final room through corridors by simply following the marker highlights. Once you’ve reached the boss room, Kargen will be standing in the middle of the room. Kargen is in an immune state, so to make it vulnerable, you must activate the plate in the middle by standing on it.
Doing this will spawn some enemies like War Beasts and Cabal soldiers, but they shouldn’t be a problem. The thing you should worry about is the Void that boss shoots at you, so put your main focus on avoiding them first and then dealing damage.
After half of Kargen’s health is decreased, the boss will once again go to the immune stage. In this stage, you have to activate three plates in the room – one in the middle and two on the sides. Doing this will spawn Gladiators, War Beasts, Cabal Soldiers, and Void-shielded Incendiors.
Destiny 2: How To Complete The Bound In Sorrow Week 7 Quests
Like before, deal with them first as soon as possible. Especially Gladiators and War Beasts as they interrupt players from charging the rest of the plates. After you dealt with them and activated all the plates, you can easily kill Kragen and take the loot the boss drops.
Destiny 2 is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
