American pro-dancer and Dancing With The Stars longtime star Derek Hough has nothing but praise for his longtime partner Hayley Erbert. Derek has no problems singing Hayley’s praises and did so recently.
The professional dancer chatted with US Weekly on Monday, June 6th, 2022, to promote his Las Vegas residency, “Derek Hough: No Limit.” During the chat, Derek gushed about his fiancée, whom he proposed to earlier this month.
Derek’s words, filled with warmth and admiration, only confirmed just how much the couple adored each other. They also showed how glad he was to finally take their relationship to new heights. He said:

After dishing out his touching odes to his belle, Derek sealed the deal by tagging her as “the one.” While it seemingly took the actor, who began dating Erbert in 2015, about seven years to completely figure that out, his assertions were not unfounded.
The Make Your Move actor explained how he became smitten with his partner enough to propose. He credited the Kansas native’s personality and care for animals for making him confident she would make a great mom and the ideal life partner.

Derek went public with his engagement on Thursday, June 2nd, taking to Instagram to share the big news. Divulging details about their moment of bliss, the six-time winner of Dancing With the Stars admitted to putting in the effort to make the proposal a surprise.
With help from a professional crew headed by event planner Troy Williams, the 37-year-old transformed his living room into a dreamy, romantic space, complete with flowers and candles. Thankfully, Hailey accepted his proposal, making the effort worthwhile.
Derek’s fiancée was as glad as he was to finally scale through that milestone in their relationship. Sharing a photo of her sparkler on Instagram, the soon-to-be bride captioned:
