After much support on the app, Johnny Depp joins TikTok. For those on the platform, the trial has been a focal point for six weeks. But most of that content has been under the hashtag ‘Justice for Johnny Depp.’ DeppTok is really a hashtag, by the way. It is how his fans classify the Depp-focused content. As soon as Depp joined, he made it clear why he joined.
To thank his fans and adamant supporters.
DeppTok has taken on a life of its own, with some toks being serious examinations of the trial while others are seeing this as a huge meme opportunity. Just look up ‘my dog stepped on a bee’ on TikTok to see what is meant by meme opportunities. But Johnny is not here about the memes. To all of my most treasured, loyal and unwavering supporters. We’ve been everywhere together, we have seen everything together. We have walked the same road together. You are, as always, my employers and once again I am whittled down to no way to say thank you, other than just by saying thank you. So, thank you. My love & respect, JD
