Aniplex revealed that the next DLC character for Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles will be the popular demon Gyutaro from the Entertainment District Arc. The announcement for the Demon Slayer game also revealed a trailer and that it will be a paid DLC.

Currently, customers can purchase the characters individually or as part of a character DLC pack. The full DLC pack for The Hinokami Chronicles includes Uzui Tengen, Tanjiro Kamado (Entertainment District Arc), Nezuko Kamado (Advanced Demon form), Zenitsu Agatsuma (Entertainment District Arc), Inosuke Hashiibra (Entertainment District Arc), Daki, and Gyutaro.

Since its release, the game has released Tengen in early July and Nezuko Kamado (Advanced Demon form) in late August. Entertainment District arc versions of Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke came in a pack of three in September. The game then released Daki in October. Currently, the game has 1 million copies in circulation worldwide.

Sega Asia currently describes the game as;

Become the Demon Slayer, Tanjiro Kamado, to fight off the demons threatening humanity in order to turn his sister Nezuko back into a human. He also strives to avenge the death of his family by hunting down the demon who killed them.

The Demon Slayer game features a story mode that allows fans to relive the story of the first season of the anime. There is also a battle mode that lets players choose who they want to fight with. These characters include Tanjiro Kamado, Inosuke Hashibira, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Giyu Tomioka, Sakonji Urokodaki, Sabito, Makomo, Rengoku, Shinobu, and Murata. Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Giyu, as they appear in the Demon Slayer Academy shorts, are also available in the game as playable characters.

Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles is currently available in English for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. The game’s Nintendo Switch version launched in Japan on June 10th.

The Demon Slayer anime is currently available to watch on Netflix, Funimation, Crunchyroll, and Hulu.
