Demetrius Grosse has been officially announced as the latest addition to Avalon, an upcoming drama series coming soon to ABC. Known for his roles on Fear the Walking Dead and Swagger, Grosse will be joining Avalon cast members Neve Campbell, Steven Pasquale, Roslyn Ruff, and Alexa Mansour.

ABC’s Avalon will feature Neve Campbell (Scream) as Sheriff Detective Nicole “Nic” Searcy, a detective who’s been entrusted with the safety and protection of Avalon, the main city of Catalina Island in California. The small town’s population is regularly boosted by the million tourists that arrive by ferry each year, making Nicole’s job that much harder; together with Detective William Claywood (Steven Pasquale), Deputy Carolyn Chavez (Alexa Mansour), and police dispatcher Lena (Roslyn Ruff), Nicole will be tested with a dark mystery that will upend everything she knows about her career, her island, and herself.

Demetrius Grosse will be joining the cast of Avalon as Senior Deputy Dayo Musa, who’s assigned to Catalina Island after failing to be promoted to detective. According to Deadline, “His core value seems to be defiance. Cynicism informs his every move about working the island, but despite the harsh words and terse manner, he’s got a really good heart.”
