Deep Rock Galactic has today launched its June 8 update across all platforms, so here’s the full list of changes and fixes with this patch. Today’s update, like most for Deep Rock Galactic, doesn’t seek to bring a heap of new content and instead just wants to clean up a few bug fixes. That has the unfortunate side effect of making today’s update feel worth very little, but it’s a good update nonetheless. Having fixes to specific bugs means your game should run smoother and with fewer hitches to the experience. That will always be a good thing. Without further ado, here’s everything new with Deep Rock Galactic in its June 8 update!

Deep Rock Galactic June 8 Update Patch Notes

  • Fixed low res textured materials such as Bismor and Croppa
  • Fixed characters blinking in and out of existence when wearing some headwear that hides most of the head.
  • Fixed exothermic reactor triggering inconsistency for clients, now works same as host
  • Making initialization of mods already on the system independent from the modio system.

As you can see, there isn’t a huge amount here to talk about. Today’s update brings just four fixes, though each of them is quite nice. Some materials were showing up with lower resolution textures than they should, so to have that fixed is a big plus. Headwear causing some dwarves to blink in and out of existence does sound hilarious, but can likely be nothing more than distracting once the initial shock wears off. The endothermic reactor being consistent should make gameplay feel mostly seamless as compared to previously. And ending things off is a rather confusing note, though likely a good one nonetheless.

Deep Rock Galactic is available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles. For more information regarding this update and others, check out the official Steam post.
