The survival action RPG Decision: Red Daze is set to be released on Steam on May 19th. This new game coming out of the Nordcurrent lab is a zombie game that attempts to fuse multiple genres into one, so add it to your Steam Wishlist before you forget.
FlyAnvil is the developer behind the game, whilst Nordcurrent is the publisher. Together they team up to deliver what they describe as “a genre-bending zombie survival game” – we’ve heard that once or twice before. This game hopes to offer a deep and engaging survival and crafting mechanics system that will force players to think outside the box just so they can hope to survive the night. There will be epic tower defenses to maneuver around while having quirky but relatable humor, a tense atmosphere, and an engaging story that strikes similarities to the Fallout series.

What is the story in Decision: Red Daze?
The story for Decision: Red Daze is as follows: You have managed to survive the Red Daze, which has shrouded the entire world, only leaving destruction and incredibly mutated monsters in its path. As one of the few survivors, it is up to you to give humanity some hope once again. You must protect and lead a group of survivors through this tumultuous landscape whilst fighting off infected and expanding your base.
Survival is just the beginning because it is a never-ending struggle. You must use all your courage, all your wits, every last inch of might to lead yourself and your people to the dream of finding a possible cure – hope will keep you going, that’s for sure.
But it isn’t just hope because you will have an arsenal of deadly weaponry that varies from intricate defense mechanisms, or through the use of your crafting skills and the items you find in this terrifying world, and you can even make powerful allies to assist you on your mission.
