Deborah Ann Woll will be returning to the Marvel Netflix Universe but not in the original show she starred in. She will be playing Karen Page, secretary to the law firm run by Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson. However, since Daredevil is canceled, she will be appearing in the second season of The Punisher.

The announcement comes from an interview by showrunner Steve Lightfoot. The show’s creator said (via Screenrant),

Since Netflix’s cancellation after season three of Daredevil and two other of their Marvel shows, fans won’t get to find out what the future holds for Page, Nelson, and Murdock. Woll appeared as Page in the first season of The Punisher, so it makes sense her character should appear again. It could be a way to wrap up her interaction with Frank Castle after events of season one and Daredevil.

The Dungeons and Dragons dungeon master played Karen Page in all 39 episodes of Daredevil’s three-season run on the Netflix platform. Jon Bernthal, who plays the infamous vigilante Frank Castle aka The Punisher, first appeared in the first episode of the second season of Daredevil.

The True Blood actress also starred in The Defenders before it got the boot as well.

2017’s first season of Netflix’s The Punisher ran 17 episodes with Woll appearing as Karen Page in four of them. Fans can check out season two of The Punisher when it releases on Netflix in January.

Woll is starting her own Dungeons and Dragons RPG, Relics and Rarities, on Geek and Sundry.
