Sharing a photo on Instagram, Emily O’ Brien confirmed she’ll be a part of the cast in Death Stranding. Alongside her, there will also be the one and only Troy Baker, who has a long palmares when it comes to playing dramatic roles in video games.

The photo O’ Brien shared has Baker, Norman Reedus and herself together, probably in a performance capture studio working for/together with Kojima Productions. She said to be “honored to be working these two fine lads on Hideo Kojima’s new project Death Stranding. I’m lucky gal.”

The actress has already played several roles in different video games, such as Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series’ Gamora and Batman: The Enemy Within’s Imana Avesta. We’ve yet to discover which her role in the upcoming PS4 exclusive is set to be.

Talking about Baker, he’s already worked with Kojima for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, where he played Revolver Ocelot. Recently, he was Bruce Wayne/Batman in Batman: The Telltale Series and Sam Drake in Uncharted 4/The Lost Legacy. In this case, as well we’ve not been informed about what he’s going to play in the action game for PlayStation 4.

Considering things are narrowing down when it comes to Death Stranding, there’s a good possibility we could learn more about their involvement in the project at E3 2018 in June, where the title is expected to be releasing the first proper gameplay scene.

We’ve yet to discover when it releases, too, so that’s another piece of the puzzle we’ll need to fix as soon as possible.
