Hideo Kojima has revealed Conan O’Brien’s character for Death Stranding. The PlayStation 4 exclusive is set to feature a character based on the popular American host, who also gives you a hat that allows you to swim faster or something like that.
The character has the name of O’Brien himself and is one of the “preppers” in the game, called “The Wondering MC.” He allows you to grab a “Sea Otter Suit” when you connect with him, which has an extraordinary power you can instantly unlock.
As shared by Kojima on Twitter, “you’ll be able to swim easily in the river, you won’t be drifted away,” and even more importantly, “BB would be happy as well,” for some reason. It’s so crazy that we look forward to seeing all this in the final title now.
Also, it’s so crazy that one might think it’s just an elaborate joke. O’Brien has been at Kojima Productions’ office to be scanned and turned into an actual character, even though we weren’t expecting something like this at all.
