Gamescom is an excellent occasion for people to put their hands on incoming titles. Those who can’t attend get to see how the games are turning out. This was the case for Death Stranding, and the developers have something special for fans in Germany.

As shared by Hideo Kojima on Twitter the “Briefing” trailer was exclusively displayed for the attendance at Gamescom. For the time being there’s something people in Koln can watch and learn about that we can’t see, yet.

And, looking at what Kojima is saying right now, that ‘something’ is essential. It gives players a “more concrete” idea of what you’re going to do in the game once you start playing as Norman Reedus’ character, Sam, the protagonist of the game.

“There’s 1 exclusive trailer of DEATH STRANDING called “BRIEFING” showing at Sony PlayStation Booth,” says the Japanese game designer and director. “It explains what Sam(player) will be doing in the game, and I think you’ll understand the more concrete purpose of the game.”

We’ve yet to see an off-screen version of the trailer from Gamescom. But there are reports on the Internet that the “Briefing” scene makes it clearer what you’re going to do in the game.

We need to wait for the trailer to pop up online. In the meantime, we have to trust Kojima until Nov. 8 even though there’s something still missing.

Saw the “Briefing” trailer today and now I really can’t wait any longer until the release ??☔??? @Kojima_Hideo @HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN @KojiPro2015_EN @gamescom #gamescom2019 #Kojima #DeathStranding https://t.co/UcAEvhC5Lr
