After quite a while waiting, Deadpool has finally arrived in Fortnite.

As of today, Deadpool is available as a skin for Fortnite players that own the battle pass. Considering he has been part of the promotions for Chapter 2, Season 2 of Fortnite, it’s been a long time coming. However, although the Deadpool skin is free for battle pass owners, they still have to earn it.

The skin can only be unlocked by completing a set of challenges, a practice that isn’t new for Fortnite. To find weekly challenges, in the battle pass section of the main menu, there is a vent towards the upper-right of the room. If you click on it, you’ll enter Deadpool’s mess of a hideout. Interact with the computer to find all the challenges, but, of course, you can also just look here to see them all!

Note that you do have to complete these challenges in order, one week to the next. The challenges actually started all the way back in February, but, don’t worry, you can still complete them now. You just have to start at the beginning.

Once you have completed all the challenges, and you own the battle pass, you can cause mayhem in your brand new Deadpool skin.

But even if you don’t own the battle pass (such as myself), there is still fun to be had in Fortnite. For example, there is a Deadpool Yacht party that any player can visit. The Yacht is filled with all kinds of funny details for those looking for them. But even if you are a broad-strokes kind of person, there’s a giant Deadpool statue holding a disco ball. What more do you need?

For Deadpool fans, this event in Fortnite is a great way to bide our time until Ryan Reynold’s Deadpool 3.

If Fortnite isn’t quite your thing, there is a new battle royale title out there to try out, completely free. Call of Duty: Warzone is yet another player in the battle royale genre, but it has a few things that allow it to stand out amongst the crowd.

In the meantime, stay healthy. Make sure to wash your hands, and practice social distancing.
