DEADCRAFT is a new zombie survival game that is launching on May 19th. This new simulation/action RPG will have players craft weapons and supplies to survive this nightmarish world that has become ravaged by zombies. DEADCRAFT will launch on Windows PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and the Nintendo Switch, just about the whole package. Before you take on the army of undead monsters in the full version, the demo is available to play on all platforms now, and you can take a look at the trailer below.
What is DEADCRAFT All About?
DEADCRAFT is the latest game from Marvelous Incorporated, and let us tell you a bit about the story of this upcoming zombie survival game. Meteors have reduced Earth to a stark and barren wasteland, and the apocalyptic disaster also results in a mysterious virus resurrecting the dead. Only a portion of the human population remains, and you are one of them, but you are different than the rest. Having been exposed to the virus, you have turned part-zombie (what are the chances of that), and you must make your way back to the city and solve this problem.
Some of the key features that DEADCRAFT will include are:
- Farm the Dead to Stay Alive – Plant fresh corpses, or even just a selection of tasty limbs, where they will turn into an army of undead soldiers just for you.
- Creeptastic Crafting – Surviving the apocalypse will sometimes see you using whatever scraps you find so that you can make weapons and other items to help you survive. Or you can enlist the help of a loyal undead servant from your fresh crop to aid you in your journey.
- Death-Defying powers of the Undead – Reid (the protagonist) can use his half-zombie side, giving him the advantage in a fight by allowing him to shield himself from danger, and easily vanquish groups of annoying enemies.
- Become a Saviour – You must help other survivors and teach them new recipes and abilities, but you can also take money or supplies off these people, allowing you to play the game as a hero or a villain; the choice is all yours.
The standard edition of DEADCRAFT will be available for $24.99, and the digital deluxe edition will be $39.99. The deluxe edition includes two DLC packs, both arriving after the launch, but these packs will also be offered individually for $7.99 each upon release. So, feel free to check out this zombie survival game next month; it will be worth the wait.
