Earlier this month, Capcom announced that Dead Rising 3 would be heading to PC this summer, ending its Xbox One exclusivity. Since then, we have all been eagerly awaiting news on when us PC gamers will be able to start tearing up Los Perdidos as Nick Ramos. That news finally came today via a tweet from Capcom-Unity. September 5th is the release date; mark your calenders.

The timing for this news couldn’t be better given the kickoff of Steam’s 2014 Summer Sale. Why, you ask? Dead Rising 3 found its way onto the first day’s Daily Deals of the sale.  For the next 45 hours, Dead Rising 3 can be pre-purchased for 25% off, bring the price down to $37.49 from its $49.99 retail price. I can personally say that this came as an unexpected, but welcome, blow to my wallet within the first twenty-four hours.

Will the rest of you jump on this Daily Deal or will you hold out for a possible Flash Sale, in hopes of seeing the discount rise to 33%? Oh, the joys of gambling with Steam’s timed sales.
