Dead Island 2 is a game that has changed so much in its development cycle that at one point we thought it wasn’t happening anymore. Thankfully, it is, and the developers are making sure we know that. Not long ago, we got some information about two upcoming characters. Today, one was revealed. Dani got her own small trailer for Dead Island 2 showcasing some of her skills. She has a cool style and even cooler abilities that’ll let you survive this apocalypse. The game is coming, and we are eager to learn much more about it in the coming weeks.
Dani’s skills in Dead Island 2 make her the perfect damage dealer
Right now, the trailer shows two innate skills for Dani in Dead Island 2. Reading them, we can already see that she’ll be a perfect DPS-like character. Here are the innate skills she’ll get:
- Bloodlust: Regains health after killing zombies in succession
- Thunderstruck: Heavy attacks trigger an explosion
As you can see, Dani is built around doing damage. While we can’t see a lot in Dani’s trailer for Dead Island 2, the skills descriptions make it look like she’ll be a force to be reckoned with.

Dead Island 2 Gets a Release Date and Trailer After 8 Years
We’ve also seen some other slayers, which as always, make a colorful cast that only this game can bring to life. So far, players are happy with what they are seeing. The game seems quite fun, and the art style is amazing due to the place it’s set in. But, we’d love to get even more gameplay footage sometime soon before the game releases. Dead Island 2 is one of the most anticipated games of 2023, and gamers are excited about it. So, if you haven’t, make sure to pre-order the game for your favorite platform.
