Days of Our Lives James Lastovic had recently gone missing in Hawaii after hiking with his roommate. Days fans know Lastovic best for his role as Joey Johnson, who was on the show for five years. Joey was the youngest child of super-couple, Steve “Patch” Johnson and Kayla Brady. Lastovic’s family has pleaded online to try to help find him, and there was some real concern. His roommate, Nevin Dizdari’s Mother, was the first to notice. The two had been staying in Kauai when they decided to go for a hike. Someone at Hanalei Bay Resort said they were headed to Kokee State Park to do some hiking and sightseeing.
The problem was they two never returned to the resort Sunday evening. This got people thinking something had gone terribly wrong. It was also said they were driving a black Nissan, which also hadn’t been seen. But in a very good plot twist, both he and his roommate were located, and they are fine. They had gotten turned around in Kokee State Park, and that caused them to get lost for a bit. Thankfully, this story has a happy ending.

Again, Days of Our Lives’ James Lastovic was missing for a bit but has been found and is fine. While people acted fast, thankfully, the worst-case scenario didn’t play out. Just a couple of dudes getting lost during a hike. Usually, when we write stories like this, they have sad endings. It’s really refreshing to have one that doesn’t. We do want to commend everyone for acting quickly, though.
But a quick reminder: always communicate when are where you are hiking to friends and family. As seen here, it can be really easy to get turned around. Furthermore, if no one knows where you are, they don’t know where to look.
